There are two posts today: one is the obligatory Angel-mourning post ("Whedonesque, or "but he's only just begun!", below); the other one is this, more general catching-up, post. Read on, dear (er) reader...

It wasn't a great week for comprehensive blogging last week, was it? (Apart from the South Park pictures.) My dad's health was kinda in the forefront of the frame, and I didn't spend a lot of time thinking about a lot else. As I detailed below, though, it turned out to be clear on the cancer front - still thank fuck for that. But he's still got something wrong with him, making his back very painful and him dizzy occassionally. So he's got a checkup at the start of March, and with any luck a) he won't get a lot worse before then and b) they'll finally be able to work out what's going on. So the major panic's over, as far as I'm concerned, or at least returned to the background again. Which means I can begin to work it into the rest of my normal, practical everyday, life - which means doing normal stuff again, thinking about everything that's going on, and - yes! - blogging. Hurray!

There's been a number of changes around this site and those that I love dearly in that time, too:

• I added the beautiful Talia and Randyboy to the linkages, and finally got around to changing Jory's so it works properly.


• Jason got a new section of his site up! It's the obligatory "bio" page, and I think the fact that I dreamed he'd done one the night before, in the nightly collection of random thoughts and ideas that get scattergunned at me in my dreams, says more about my subconscious than anything else...


• There's the (nearly) complete set of South Park pictures archived over at the photoblog.

Think that's about it, really. Should be all caught up now, apart from Thursday night's fantasticness - which included the forming of our very own cheesy boyband (with requisite photography, oh yes). That's to come later this week - with the exception of a sneaky photo of me I added to the bio page - along with the resumption of normal webloggery, with any luck. Hope you're doing alright.
