Hurrah for television
Things I’m currently obsessing about (to prevent me obsessing about any of the stuff I should be obsessing about)*:
This Life Series 1 & 2 on DVD: Wow. Anna, Egg, Milly, Miles, Warren, back at the beginning. Out in the countryside where all we had to do was watch sheep for entertainment, this show was seminal to my teenage years. (By the way, have I mentioned my birthday is coming up…)
West Wing Series 7 on More4: I can’t believe this is it! And I know its not as good as it used to be, its not as witty or sharp and just damn clever but thats not the point! When it ends there will never again be a new episode of West Wing - what am I supposed to look forward to then?
The imminent return of Dr Who: Hurrah! Perfect Saturday night television, I look forward to returning to the point where saturday night plans revolve around the scheduling of Dr Who.
24 Series 4 on DVD: which I purchased on sunday, because I didn’t have time to go shoe shopping (it makes sense in my head). The addition of this to our household will soon mean that none of us can ever leave the house again, at least not until we’ve watched. just. one. more. episode.
Obsessing over television - its what an ostrich would do if it could switch sand for tvs.
Watching: The O.C
Eating: cheese on toast pizza
Needing: a good 8 hours sleep
*mainly work stuff - stuff that only I should be worrying about, no need to panic

Yeah, but don’t watch Mayo. I warn you now.
