Confession
Dear readers, it has been some time since my last confession and I’ve been a bad girl…
/deep breath/
…I bought shoes.
/looks guilty/
Ok, ok, I admit it I bought two pairs of shoes. Well, a pair of shoes *and* a pair of boots if we want to be exact about this.
But in my defence they were in the sale, a total purchasing sum of only �30, which I think you’ll agree is quite a bargain, especially as they should have been �100 in total! Oh yes, a 70% discount, which really counts as saving money…I haven’t really just spent �30, oh no, I have actually saved �70 and got new footwear at the same time!
And yes, I am currently poorer than a churchmouse who has been thrown out for squandering the family income on shoes and gin; and yes, the new shoes will probably kill my feet but you know what I’ve had a bad, bad day and now I get the new shoe satisfaction, twice, the smug I’ve-just-saved-�70 feeling (let me have this one…), and tomorrow I can stalk around in my new 4 inch heels and stamp on anyone who gets in my way - you have been warned
